December 4, 2023: Trailer 1

Confirmed

Rockstar’s current Trailer 1 page dates the video to December 4, 2023. It is the starting point for the official video timeline. Watch the original through Rockstar rather than relying on a re-upload with an altered title, a different publication date or commentary presented as part of the trailer.

For current story context, Rockstar’s accompanying synopsis names Jason and Lucia and describes a criminal conspiracy across Leonida. A modern trailer landing page may carry updated promotional copy. Do not assume every sentence now on the page was part of the original 2023 reveal.

May 6, 2025: Trailer 2

Confirmed

Rockstar dates Trailer 2 to May 6, 2025. Read it alongside the publisher’s official character biographies: those pages explicitly establish the names Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos and describe their backgrounds. Our character overview keeps those written confirmations separate from interpretations of individual shots.

The useful takeaway is a richer official introduction to the central pair and their world, not a complete campaign outline. The order in which a trailer shows people and locations is not proof of the order in which missions occur. Avoid treating a dramatic montage as a playable objective list.

August 27, 2026: An Extended Look

Confirmed

The official Extended Look page dates this video to August 27, 2026. Rockstar describes it as captured entirely from in-game footage on PlayStation 5. That is a specific capture claim about the shown material, rather than footage we can describe as an independent test on every supported console.

This distinction matters when comparing versions. A PS5 presentation cannot establish Xbox Series S frame rates, a future PC configuration or the absence of launch-day changes. If you want the least story exposure, you can choose to skip the extended presentation and use the shorter written setting and platform guides instead.

October 15, 2026: Launch Trailer

Confirmed

Rockstar’s Launch Trailer page gives October 15, 2026 as its date. It identifies the debut of “Flower in a Hurricane” from original score composers Justice, featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. That is an official music credit, not a complete in-game radio track list.

The launch trailer is a later promotional milestone than Trailer 2. A guide that stops at the first two trailers is therefore incomplete in the November 2026 context. We link to all four official video pages so readers can choose their own spoiler level and check the publication sequence.

What trailers can and cannot establish

Not officially confirmed

These official pages establish publication dates, the current synopsis and selected capture or music credits. They do not give this site a verified mission count, collectible checklist, map scale, PC requirements table or comprehensive list of police and combat rules. We leave those gaps visible.

When an on-screen observation is discussed, the responsible wording is “shown in this video,” not “guaranteed in every situation.” A character biography, platform support page and trailer each answer different kinds of questions. Combining them is useful only if their limits remain clear.

A short, spoiler-aware catch-up plan

Practical guidance

Start with the release and platform guide if your question is simply when and where you can play. Read the character and Leonida pages for names and context, then watch the official videos in publication order if you want more. There is no need to consume fan breakdowns to prepare your console.

Keep current launch logistics separate from older promotional material. The November preload information is newer than the June pre-order announcement; an old description or re-upload is not the right source for today’s download window. Our existing preload guide links the later sources and explains the platform timing differences.
